Donors Pool US$500 Million of Grant Fund For the Government Recovery Program in Aceh and Nias
Jakarta , April 25, 2005 – Donors today launched a major new fund to pool their aid resources in support of the Government's rehabilitation and reconstruction program for Aceh and North Sumatra . This multi-donor trust fund is being created to accelerate implementation of the recovery blueprint by providing grant financing in a coordinated fashion. It is initially expected to have US$500 million in grant resources.
 
KBRI Singapura telah mengumpulkan dan mengirimkan barang-barang lebih kurang 75 ton dalam bentuk pakaian, selimut, air mineral, obat-obatan, peralatan medis, makanan dan lain-lain. Sedangkan jumlah uang yang telah diterima KBRI sampai dengan tanggal tersebut adalah sebesar S$ 67,878.10 dalam bentuk cek dan S$ 122,014.01 dalam bentuk uang tunai, sehingga jumlah totalnya S$ 189,892.11, ditambah dalam bentuk mata uang lain senilai Rp. 13,866,300.
